Real-time information on the heart rate and movement activity

LPM – Local Position Measurement is a unique, patented system for local position and heart rate measurement in real time.
LPM is based on high frequency position measurement with output of x, y, z data and a speed vector. Thus, movement of people or any objects up to a thousand times per second can be measured, tracked and displayed on a screen in real time.

Data generation is based on radiofrequency technology and results from wireless communication between two entities:

• a transponder which is carried in a lightweight, nondisruptive vest by each athlete and
• several (base) stations positioned around the athletic field (e.g. ice rink, pitch) and connected to a computer  

LPM stands for maximum comfort in usage and high-accuracy data measurements:

• LPM hardware is capable of monitoring several athletic fields at the same time and can also be employed in case of alternating athletic fields that are used for training or competition/matches due to a selection of different LPM-installation models: Wired or unwired as a 1D system or mobile as a 3D system, a fixed installation or a semi-mobile one (basic infrastructure plus mobile electronics)
• LPM can be used indoor and outdoor
• Due to the high frequency of the measurement (up to 1,000 measurements per second) and the high accuracy of the measurement (+/-5 cm) the LPM-system delivers highly accurate information. High accuracy combined with real-time heart rate and movement performance information make the LPM-system unique.
